Privacy Policy
How Gonzware LLC handles personal information on this website and in its consulting and product business.
Effective July 29, 2026
1. Who we are
Gonzware LLC is a Wisconsin limited liability company based in Wisconsin, United States ("Gonzware", "we", "us", or "our"). We provide software consulting services and develop and operate our own software products.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website (https://gonzware.com) and in the course of our business relationships, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to Gonzware's own dealings with prospective clients, clients, and correspondents.
It does not govern the products we operate. Each product has its own privacy policy published on its own site, and where we process data inside a product on a client's behalf we act as that client's service provider under our agreement with them, not as the controller of that data.
2. What this website collects
This website is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no contact form, no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. We do not set cookies on it and we do not build visitor profiles.
Our hosting provider processes standard server and network request data — including IP address, timestamp, requested URL, and user agent — to deliver pages and to protect the site against abuse and denial-of-service attacks. That data is handled by the provider under its own terms and is not used by us to identify individual visitors.
If you follow an email link on this site, no information is sent anywhere until you choose to send the message yourself from your own mail program.
3. Information you give us directly
If you contact us, or engage us for consulting work, we collect the information you choose to provide. In practice this is:
- Contact details — name, email address, telephone number, business name and role.
- Correspondence — the content of emails and messages you send us, and our replies.
- Engagement records — proposals, statements of work, invoices, and payment records.
- Any material you deliberately share with us in the course of a project, such as documentation, credentials, or access to systems.
4. How we use it
We use the information above only to run our business, specifically to:
- Respond to enquiries and correspond with you.
- Deliver, support and invoice for services we have been engaged to provide.
- Keep the accounting, tax and contractual records the law requires us to keep.
- Protect our systems and clients against fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
5. Mobile and text messaging information
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Where our products send text messages on behalf of a business client, they are sent at that client's instruction to recipients who have given that client consent. Recipients can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, and can request help by replying HELP. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies by the client and the message type.
We use licensed messaging carriers and communications providers solely to transmit those messages. They may only process the information needed to deliver them, and may not use it for their own marketing.
6. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We share information only with service providers that help us operate, each bound to use it solely to provide their service to us. These currently include cloud hosting and infrastructure (Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare, Supabase), email delivery (Amazon Simple Email Service, Fastmail), text messaging (Twilio, Sinch), and payment processing (Stripe).
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, where necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets — in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.
7. Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and then for as long as we are required to retain business, tax and contractual records. Correspondence that no longer serves a purpose is deleted.
We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls limited to the people who need it, infrastructure managed as reviewed code, and least-privilege credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we take these obligations seriously and will notify affected parties and regulators of a qualifying breach as the law requires.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, ask what we hold and who we have shared it with, or object to a particular use. Email support@gonzware.com and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows. We will never charge you or degrade our service because you exercised a right.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or state privacy statutes, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Where we ask for consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
If you have asked us to stop emailing you about our services, we will stop; we may still send messages necessary to an engagement we are performing for you.
9. Children's privacy
Our website and services are directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International visitors
We operate from the United States and our systems are hosted there. If you contact us from outside the United States, the information you send will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our business changes. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version; material changes will be announced on this page.
